Musanze is booming. It will be the second city of Rwanda, but still of a small scale and not crowded like Kigali. Most products and services can be found in Musanze (formerly called Ruhengeri).

Musanze is very near many highlights of Rwanda and enclosed by the Virunga volcano chain.

Musanze, is located at a distance of about 2 hours’ drive from Kigali.

The altitude is around 1900 m which ensures a temperature between 16 (night) and 28 (day) degrees Celsius. This offers the opportunity for all gradations between relaxing and active exercise.
